Sammy B is a contemporary line of women’s clothing that is feminine with an electric edge “My line is a mash-up of all the day-to-day styles that comprise the racks of “It Girls” closets everywhere.
The line is comprised of cropped jackets, fitted skirts, runway ready swimsuits and statement party dresses fitting of any glam goddess.
Samantha Black is a Bronx native; she went on to graduate from prestigious Pratt Institution in 2005 receiving a BFA with a concentration in fashion design. While in school she interned for Jill Stuart and Michael Kors, after college she relocated to London where she worked for the renowned and late Alexander McQueen. Upon her return to the States, Samantha went on the become head designer for a subdivision of Aeropostale.
Today, Samantha counts her culture, individual style personality as well as the designers she’s been blessed to work with as inspiration for her design aesthetic, thereby producing the line known as Sammy B! Her goal is to complement those who are chic and fashion forward all the while enhancing their style with that extra pop!

Through the road hasn’t been easy as a new designer, it is one that is worth the struggle. “My journey as a new designer was and still is very hard. It takes a whole lot of work, patience, and determination seeing my dreams become a reality is what keeps me going,” say Samantha. For new designers, Sammy advises: “Be true to who you are as a designer. If you want it, keep pushing and there is always room for improvement.”
Her journey has granted her the opportunities to work with such stars as recording artist Keri Hilson, Elle Varner, Winter Gordon and has appeared on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” & “Styled by June”.
