Gen Art, the organization celebrating 20 years of discovering and curating the hottest emerging fashion, returns to New York Fashion Week to support the launch of urban, sportswear brand PRMITV WORLD by Creative Director, Jacqueline Levine. The debut of PRMITV WORLD’S The First Wonder Collection featured an interactive presentation fusing fashion, art and music for an unparalleled experience.

Jacqueline Levine, the founder and creative director of PRMITV WORLD, began as an installation and lowbrow street artist, taking over abandoned buildings in various cities and transforming their interiors to activate vacant space and encourage engagement with her audience in urban areas. Her work has drawn many accolades, as she was a featured artist at Art Basel: Miami and the Florence Biennale, among many others. Levine drew upon her artistic inspiration in the design of this collection, maintaining the same playful persona and cutting-edge aesthetic as her sculptural work for a collection “with a personality.”

The Fresh Faces program is the largest and most recognized fashion event of its kind and is a catalyst for emerging designers in the industry, and over the years, many notable designers, such as Rodarte, Vena Cava, Zac Posen and Phillip Lim have participated in the program for one of their very first runway fashion shows. Several Gen Art alumni have also gone on to win the coveted CFDA emerging designer award and the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award after their Gen Art debut.
