New York Fashion Week. Lead Hairstylist, T. Cooper of Metro Look, and her hair team were sponsored by Marrakesh Hair Care to create the hairstyles for the Art Hearts Fashion shows during New York Fashion Week. The Art Hearts Fashion runway shows fuse art and fashion, allow several designers to showcase their collections, and are presented by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Art Hearts Fashion was founded in 2011 by philanthropist and designer Erik Rosete.
This season, there were three shows that took place at three different historic New York venues: Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Station, the High Line Hotel, and the Liberty Theater. The title hair sponsor, Marrakesh Hair Care, asked T. Cooper to be Lead Hairstylist for the shows, and she gladly accepted. “I was very familiar with the Art Hearts Fashion shows, and I couldn’t have been more excited to participate.” says Cooper.
The shows were a collective of several designers including Furne Amato, Mister Triple X, House of Lijon, and Divamp Couture. With styles that included everything from effortless waves, to piecey bed hair, to gelled baby hair embellished with a hair net covering the face, there were lots of quick hair changes made throughout the evening.
To create all of the hairstyles for the show, Cooper and her team used Marrakesh Hair Care styling products. There were so many different hair looks, that we really got to see the versatility of the line. We could not have shaped the hair as beautifully without these amazing products.”
