Nicholas K

Date: February 9, 2012 – NY.

Designer Nicholas Kunz proposes a fashionable western man. Lots of draped knits as well as abundant layering with her latest collection. The mixture of oversized jerseys and knits, styled with leather jackets and parkas were a total knock out.

Joseph Abboud

Date: February 9, 2012 – NY.

A collection that seems to have been dreamed up, by a super busy, private jet kind of businessman with a fashionable nature. The designer’s used of graphics, fitted suits, trench coats and jackets in a elegant palette of color, are the perfect choice for the executive man of today.

Tommy Hilfiger

Date: February 10, 2012 – NY.

Tommy Hilfiger mesmerized us, presenting a military inspired collection with influences of a high-class equestrian’s world. It was a strong symphony of fitted suits, motorcycle jackets, red accents, suede, leather, and knees high boots.

Alexandre Plokhov

Date: February 10, 2012 – NY.

We could have not reviewed this season’s menswear collections, without mentioning former Versace designer Alexandre Plokhov. While there was a lot of color showed on the runways for the fall this year in New York, he presented us with a bizarre, dark, and very futuristic collection that included dark tones, leather, monochromatic combinations and an almost sub-real take on the traditional gentleman.

Michael Bastian

Date: February 13, 2012 – NY.

Mr. Bastian reminds us of what unapologetic, effortless luxury looks like this season. Masculine confidence, creative layering and a spark of color in a collection of traditional and mature looks that are yet fashion forward and wearable.

Custo Barcelona

Date: February 13, 2012 – NY.

We came across the collection of Custo Barcelona to find a mix of textures, fabrics, and prints that suggested a modern or futuristic take on an ancient cave civilization. The show presented nothing but high–fashion, innovative wear.

Michael Kors

Date: February 15, 2012 – NY.

Michael Kors showcased a collection where texture was the core featured. He included oversized knits, graphics prints, and big turtleneck sweaters contrasted by a red tonality that was consistent throughout the show. Although ambitious, Mr. Kors gave us a reason to be daring with our wardrobe and play with color in the fall this year.
