Fashion Week in NY has always been an extravagant race, people rushing up and down Lincoln Center and to Chelsea, to get a glimpse of the fascinating designs created by some of the most influential people in fashion. Here are our top 5 reviews of the spring collections… Enjoy!

Carolina Herrera

This legendary Venezuelan designer presented us with an incredibly light and soft collection this season. She was after fluidity and had an arsenal of chiffon, organza and tulle.

Rachel Zoe

The show was filled with plenty of wearable pieces, oversize T-shirts slouching off one shoulder, maxi dresses, and of course her famous pantsuits. Overall, the collection was amazing although her styling overpowered the clothes a bit down the runway.

Betsy Johnson

The show presented a collection of her most famous vintage pieces that set the tone to a spring line that was more about attitude than the clothes. Fun, confident and colorful models walked down the runway to the sound of a live and Johnson fan Cindy Lauper, who performed a set of her greatest hits in honor of the designer’s 70 birthday.

Michael Kors

Dominated by a 1960’s mood, Kor’s collection was filled with stripes, bold colors, and digital prints. He referred to the Show as “Geometric Glamour” and he did not disappoint, what a colorful and fun proposal for the season.

Calvin Klein

Francisco Costa closed New York fashion week with a collection that delivered a strong sexual charge. The Calvin Klein woman was presented as intellectual but sexy and aware of her body, a sort of modern pin up girl.
