Rochelle Aytes is no stranger to television and film having co-starred in “Dirt” with Courtney Cox, White Chicks and ABC’s hit “Desperate Housewives”. The Harlem, NY native landed another lead, this time in ABC’s nighttime TV drama “Mistresses”.
Originally a series on British television, “Mistresses” is about four friends dealing with different forms of infidelity. Aytes courageously portrays both the victim as well as a woman of authority as her character April Malloy is left to resolve the pieces her shattered life after learning that her recently deceased husband was carrying out an illicit affair while hiding a lovechild. And the drama only starts there, as Summer 2013’s number 2 scripted drama will return for a second season to air this summer.
