Fashion Hub. Lead Hairstylist, T. Cooper of Metro Look, and her team were sponsored by Olivia Garden to create hairstyles for the Fashion Hub charity fashion show hosted by Elucid magazine to benefit the earthquake victims in Nepal. Elucid is a New York City-based magazine, founded by Nepal-native, Ankit

Rauniyar. After a devastating earthquake hit Nepal, Rauniyar felt compelled to do something to help; so he decided to orchestrate a charity fashion show to raise money for earthquake relief. While still in the planning stages he asked T. Cooper to sign on as Lead Hairstylist, and she accepted. “How could you possibly say no to such a worthy cause, my conscious wouldn’t allow me to turn him down.” says Cooper.

The show was a collective of several designers including Lainy Gold Designs, Rimma Zaika, and Mei Zhen. With styles that included everything from easy, boho chic hair to vintage, 1940’s hair, a lot of hair changes were made on the models throughout the night. To create all of the hairstyles for the show, Cooper and her team used Olivia Garden styling tools. Cooper said “The double clips, Ionic Combo Paddle Brush, and the CarboSilk Tail Comb allowed us to manipulate and shape the hair beautifully. The styling tools helped us to detangle, section, and change styles the hair quickly and easily.”
